The world's first official portrait of His Majesty King Charles III

The highly collectible coins in the set showcase an image of King Charles III wearing the Tudor crown, which was designed by artist and sculptor Martin Jennings. Despite the Tudor Crown no longer existing as it was destroyed in the 1640s, it was personally selected by the King for the portrait. The image also includes the King's cypher and crown, symbolising his presence inside Westminster Abbey where he is to be crowned.

One of the coins in the set is a 50p coin featuring a drawing of Westminster Abbey by The Royal Mint's resident designer Natasha Jenkins.

The £5 coin has a design by Timothy Noad, depicting the Coronation Regalia and the St Edward's Crown, which are sacred and symbolic objects used in the coronation ceremony.

In addition to the above coins, the range includes several editions and sizes of ounce coins, each featuring the crowned portrait of the King on one side and an intricate design by John Bergdahl on the other.
